Emily and Nick were married at Tan Tara Golf Club in North Tonawanda, New York, on July 7, 2017. What a fun celebration with family and friends! Since the entire day was spent at Tan Tara, the atmosphere was casual and relaxed, with lots of laughing and joking around! Nick and Emily's daughter, Aubree, was absolutely adorable, looking like a princess in her flower girl gown. There is nothing cuter than adorable children all dressed up for a wedding! Ring bearer Henry's expression when I asked him who he was going to marry was hilarious! They decided to do a first look, instead of waiting until the ceremony, which was a great idea because a big rainstorm hit just as we finished the portraits. One of my favorite parts of the day was when we rode the golf cart to beautiful spots on the course for portraits. The ceremony was short and sweet, held on the covered patio, just as the sun peeked out from the clouds. They symbolically planted a tree together, a unique way to personalize their ceremony. Another personal touch was the wood centerpieces and the wood coasters Nick made for the tables. After a delicious dinner, one of the highlights of the evening was everyone singing a traditional Polish wedding song and putting a funny hat on Nick, called the Oczepiny, representing the wish that the marriage will be full of happiness and laughter. Then it was on to dancing and singing "Sweet Caroline!" Congratulations, Nick and Emily! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
